ClearHold Privacy Policy

ClearHold LLC ("ClearHold," "we," "us," "our") operates the ClearHold guest check-in protection service, available through participating hotels and at globalstay.app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number
- Stay information: hotel name, stay dates, room details, provided to us by the participating hotel
- Payment information: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card number
- Device and usage information: basic device/browser data and app interaction data, used to operate and troubleshoot the service
- To enroll you in ClearHold and confirm your protection status with the hotel
- To process the one-time ClearHold fee
- To administer any incidental claim submitted by the hotel on your behalf
- To communicate with you about your stay and protection status (email/SMS)
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to improve the service
- Participating hotels: limited information needed to confirm your enrollment and protection status
- Payment processor: Stripe, to process fees and payments
- SMS provider: Twilio, to deliver text messages you've opted into
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve any disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted payment processing through PCI-compliant partners, to protect your information.
ClearHold is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
