ClearHold
One clear fee. No hold on your card.
Most hotels put a hold of $100–$500 on your card at check-in. It can sit there for days. ClearHold replaces that hold with a clear fee of $19.99 at Limited-Service hotels or $39.99 at Full-Service hotels + tax at check-in. Nothing sits on your card.
The starting price is $19.99. The exact fee for your hotel is set by the property's service tier and shown at check-in. Limited-Service hotels are $19.99; Full-Service hotels are $39.99. You pay it once and you're done — the hotel never puts a hold on your card and never asks you for a deposit.

| Feature | Traditional Card Hold | ClearHold |

| Guest can use a linked card for extras? | No | Yes |
Yes. The fee is $19.99 or $39.99 + tax as a separate one-time charge at check-in. The exact amount depends on the hotel's service tier and is shown before you pay. It replaces the card hold most hotels take, which is usually $100–$500 held for several days.
Add your own money to your ClearHold balance or use your linked card. You still pay for room service, minibar, valet, and anything else you order.
You can choose to skip ClearHold at check-in. If you do, the hotel may run a traditional card hold instead.
At check-in, once. There is no monthly bill and no recurring charge.
