Yes. The fee is $19.99 or $39.99 + tax as a separate one-time charge at check-in. The exact amount depends on the hotel's service tier and is shown before you pay. It replaces the card hold most hotels take, which is usually $100–$500 held for several days.
Add your own money to your ClearHold balance or use your linked card. You still pay for room service, minibar, valet, and anything else you order.
You can choose to skip ClearHold at check-in. If you do, the hotel may run a traditional card hold instead.
At check-in, once. There is no monthly bill and no recurring charge.
